My primary task is to visually express what is happening in the world, communities and personally.
I use a variety of techniques and materials because I love exploring. Multi-tasking and serial thinking can be practiced to a fault. Therefore I am consciously aware that my ability to limit and select is a another facet of my art making. You know the part when an artist simply sits staring at works in progress, that's the attempt to take paths of possibilities in my mind and to eliminate or add elements.
I utilize vintage materials as memories of past histories both in content and the pure beauty of aged materials. My additions can be thought of as a concert between those pasts and my motions in space creating connection and pattern.
